Physical activity



Physical movement helps everyone, regardless of their age, to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Some physical activity is better than not. With more movement throughout the day in a simple way, people can achieve well-functioning levels.



Below is the level of physical activity. The world recommends that each age person perform.



Children and adolescents 5-17 years of age

At least 60 minutes of physical activity intensively and daily.
Physical activity of more than 60 minutes of daily life gives additional health benefits.
It should include activities that build muscle and bone at least 3 times a week.
Adult 18-64 years old

It should be taken at least 150 minutes in physical activity at moderate, weekly, or at least 75 minutes, or an equivalent combination of both.
For additional health benefits, adults should increase their physical activity intensively to 300 minutes per week or the equivalent.
Should perform muscle activity involving a major muscle in 2 or more days a week.
Adults 65 and older

At least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity, continuously throughout the week, or at least 75 minutes of hard, vigorous, or equivalent combination of both.
For additional health benefits, they should increase their physical activity at moderate, about 300 minutes per week or the equivalent.
Those who are moving badly should perform physical activities to improve the balance and prevent a fall, 3 days a week.
Should perform muscle activity involving a major muscle group, 2 or more days a week.
